They Have the Best Names, Though

Question: korean

This question-asker is a master of pith and minimalist communication, so I'm going to assume this is some kind of question regarding whether or not the Korean pantheon is an active entity in our games or on the table for future pantheon creation.

The answer to the first question is currently no; while we're hoping to change this in the future, with the exception of a few disastrous forays into Japan there has been little contact between our PCs and the pantheons of the far east. They made a unanimous decision that the Devas looked unfriendly and the Shen intimidating, and avoid even traveling through their territories on the way to other places. They can't avoid that part of the world forever, though.

The second question, however, is a yes! The Korean pantheon is an oddball one, mostly preserved in tales passed down by word-of-mouth through generations of shamans and influenced heavily by both the Amatsukami and the Shen, but it definitely exists and is as much a candidate for eventual possible expansion as any other. I haven't heard much interest in them in the Scion world to date - partly, I think, because few people are aware that they're even there, and partly because those who are aren't as interested in them as others - but who knows? They might have their glory day some time in the future.

Until then, the likes of Taebyolwang and Chachongbi will just have to remain guest stars instead of full cast members.

  1. Sorry, that was my question, I meant to type in a full question but my internet freaked out for a minute. But thanks for answering it anyway.
