Hey, everybody! Today's vlog is a state-of-the-website address about a bunch of stuff - questions about Scion 2.0, future vlog subjects, projects in progress right now, and more. John edited this one, so everyone tell him it looks great or he might sulk.
Question: So let's talk about Scion: Origins. The (limited) spoilers from writers seem to indicate that the first Scion 2E will largely focus on mortal-level interactions with the gods (prophets, high priests, witches, etc). How do you feel about this change, and what concepts do you think need to be addressed in the book?
Question: I saw in the Q&A that they are thinking of making dwarves and dryads playable races in Scion 2.0 for characters. Your thoughts on this?
Question: What is going to happen to the site when the new Scion edition comes out?

ReplyDeleteYay! More storytime! Also, I subscribed ages ago, though I admit I almost never watch these there except for the few times that the video goes up on Youtube quite a bit before it makes it to the vlog.
ReplyDeleteI don't really mind the 'cut everything mortal into another book' strategy if it makes room for more pantheons in Hero. And from what has been stated on the Onyx Path forums, they're shooting for ten!
Not a fan of the whole 'play as a dryad/dwarf/etc' thing though, for all the reasons you guys mentioned.
Also, screw the haters. Anyone who thinks you would skimp on quality in any project (especially after the awesomeness that is the Atua and Paroro-Whenua) needs their head examined.
Yay! Maya is almost done! And since Maya is also Druj, it's like getting two Titanrealms at once. Double Yay!
Finally, I don't know if it's John's editing, or just the sunlight, but you two look pretty darned amazing in this video :) Anne, you should totally let your hair down more often, it looks great on you.
