Sleeping with the Enemy

Question: What are the relationships between the members of your eastern band (the Yazata and Deva Scions)?

Currently, they're a little bit confused but cautiously friends. While their divine parents have warned them about the influence of the evil daevas or the heathen asuras, in some cases very strongly, they haven't yet put together that some of their bandmates and companions are actually those supposedly evil personages themselves. They're all very low-Legend and just beginning to understand this whole divinity idea, so while some, like Shadan, have figured out that they're the children of gods, others, like Terry, are still struggling with what exactly their mysterious parents are about.

So Shadan has been strongly warned against the lies of the daevas, but he hasn't really connected that that includes people like Mohini, Cassara and Padma; without having daevas explained to him, he's expecting them to be demonic creatures that he'll know when he sees. Mohini, having been brought up in the temple, knows what asuras are but would be terribly surprised to discover that Shadan and Terry number among their ranks. Padma, Cassara and Terry, all Christians brought up far removed from their parent gods' cultures, don't really know what daevas or asuras are anyway. And, of course, poor Kebo is just a Scion of the Pesedjet, and all of this political mess flies straight over his head.

It's an issue that hasn't really arisen yet since all the PCs are still so human and, with the exception of Visitations, their parents haven't visited them in person to see who they're hanging out with. Someday it's probably going to explode into a hugely dramatic problem when everybody figures out that they've been palling around with the enemy (especially since a few new PCs, including two more Devas and another Yazata, have recently joined the mix), but until that day, they blithely continue to ride zeppelins and smoke opium together as the best of friends.
