Chasing and Driving

Question: Do you have any cool Canaanite relic ideas that didn't make it into your Elohim PDF or your Reliquary?

Not really. I know some of you crazy kids out there just build relics for fun in your free time, but we really don't; if we build a relic, it's because we need it for a specific purpose, whether that's for a PC or NPC that's about to hit the streets or for inclusion in a supplement. We don't have extra homeless relics built and lying around, so pretty much all of the Canaanite toys we've ever built are already on display in the supplements.

Canaanite mythology is full of neat stuff, however, so the fact that we haven't put any more together shouldn't stop you from doing so! Weapons in the mold of Baal's famous clubs, Yagrush and Ayamur, are an excellent place to start, especially for Scions of Baal or Kothar, and chips of the crown of the gods that was passed around so ridiculously between the brothers and their father El might also have regal powers. A vial of Asherah's waters, cattle descended from Baal's and Anat's bovine tryst, skulls and chunks from the long-fallen walls of Jericho or the plague-spreading arrows of Resheph could all be repurposed for Scions' relics, or at least lend some of their material or imagery to new ones.

We don't have any ready-made toys for you, but the Canaanite myths have a wealth of options just waiting for you to get creative with!
