We are putting the finishing touches on our Titan project. It was a SERIOUS endeavor that took ~200 man hours between us working on it and I'm pretty sure you'll be pleased.
We finished 4 titan realms(they are massive and amazing) and really put a lot of time into getting it "right." We hope you're pleased and there will be an announcement probably early tomorrow or monday when they go up officially(we'd love to hear your comments/ideas)(although its probably too late to change much).
Until then we have an easter egg on the site. There is a character whose page has a link somewhere to one of the titan pages. If you find it you have to enjoy it on your own though and promise not to tell anyone. It'll be on their webpage not on their character sheet.
ONWARD!

Pretend you have 5 dots of intellect and expression, and your intellect demands you get true data for the poll but your expression demands that your voice be heard. Save "cheating" at the poll for those rare days when you're super low on willpower and only have enough to pay for ignoring 1 virtue.
But seriously please dont cheat. But feel free to ask questions about what the different poll choices might entail.

ReplyDeleteI was going to suggest 'hey how about a sample relic for every God' before I saw you actually wrote it. So yeah, that's what I'd suggest.
We're pretty excited about it, too. It's been fun to see them coming together, even if it has been a ton of work. :) It'll be just the four to start with, but we'll put new Titans on the voting poll again for future expansion.

DeleteFor the record, while hypothetically I'd be starry-eyed if you gave even a single example Birthright for every God and Goddess you have available for selection, I don't think it makes a lot of sense, at least for the pantheons you may not have done a lot of fine-tuning for, like the Shen and the Amatsukami and the Loa, where you may be adding or subtracting gods from the playable list once you get to them. From a practical standpoint, it just doesn't make sense unless the pantheon revisions are done first, which it doesn't look like they will be.
The only thing really stopping us, I think. Is that there are a LOT of gods, and undertaking a project like that might not let us get it up in the time frame we wanted to. But we'll see.

DeleteI picked up my first Scion book in high school and despite my friends being interested in it, I could never get them to focus long enough to get past character creation and actually play the damn game. Even though I haven't played, that hasn't stopped me from reading as much about it as I can. unfortunately that means when I'm bored I just start making up random Scion's in my head(seriously I have three full character casts, but none of them have been in a game!).

And while I've never played Scion (tried a little STing once though, didn't work out), you guys have not just kept my interest up in the game, but helped expand my interest in mythology into full fledged mythophilia. DeleteI'm assuming despite being up, they're not going to be released yet because they're not quite complete. Like, a bit of minor spelling edits for the most part and the map for one of the titanrealms. Either way, having cheated like, well, everyone else (though I'm amused by the Easter Egg, it was rather clever). Can't wait for the official release.

Yes, they weren't up yet because they were still mildly dusty with construction, but they're available now. Sorry for the wait. :)
