Question: What is this site about?

Hey, there, internet traveler!

This blog (and the website that goes with it, John's Scion Resources) is dedicated to a roleplaying game called Scion, published by the White Wolf gaming company back in 2007. Players of the game take on the roles of modern-day demigods, children of the ancient deities of the world's bygone myths and legends, and forge their own new marks on the world, eventually becoming gods themselves.

This blog mainly talks about things relating to the game, from discussions on world mythology and literature to examinations of mechanics and house rules; the website has a lot of house rules, custom powers, fiction stories and information on our games and their starring characters. If you're interested in the game and want to find out more, we suggest grabbing a copy of the PDFs over at DriveThru RPG or saying hi to the larger Scion community over on the official forums for the game. We're not running any new games at the moment, but there are usually folks looking for new players for games both online and in person.
