Father Earth

Question: Do you plan on converting Geb from poorly-written Legend 12 god to the Pesedjet's representative of the Titan of Earth?

He's certainly one of the first places we plan to look when we get to the Earth Titan.

I lobbied hard for him to stay when we first cut him from the roster, mostly because I hate cutting interesting figures out of active roles in the game, but the truth is that he has a hard time filling a god's role. He's a much more basic, universal kind of a dude, what with representing the entire earth and all, and his very few myths, the most important of which involve being separated from his wife in order to allow life to commence on earth and then his subsequent usurping rampage across the pantheon until he was put down by the power of Ra have a distinctly Titanic flavor to them. Combined with his age and status as a parent of the more active gods rather than an active figure himself, he looks much more likely to be a Titan than a playable parent.

And when we're looking at an Earth Titan, there's nobody else in the Egyptian pantheon who would deserve the spot more, so he won't be far from our minds (especially since he has that interesting earth-father vibe, and we'll probably need some variety from all the earth-mothers that most other cultures prefer!).
