Divine Dress Code

Question: Nudity was common in the ancient world (those in moderate/hot climates) or as not as stigmatized as it is today (your god picture of Sophia shows her with a robe barely covering her ass). How often do the gods in your games walk around in the buff shocking the modern morals of your characters?

Interestingly enough, not much, really. Oh, not that the gods aren't nude sometimes - or, at least, they don't have the same standards of nudity as modern people, so showing up topless or wearing only a lot of jewelry happens fairly often - but that it really doesn't shock the characters all that much. The thing is that when you're confronted with a god, especially a Legend 12 one, nudity is the least thing you have to be shocked about. Ultimate Attributes, magic auras and effects, and their enormously legendary reputations and accoutrements are all such huge, overwhelming things to have in your vicinity that characters usually don't really have the spare processing power to worry about who's wearing what. Gods are divine, and that means that they cause awe wherever they go, nipples or no nipples. The PCs really only tend to notice if the god in question actually draws attention to it, like Circe flaunting her breasts in Geoff's face or Cernunnos making a point by, well, pointing.

The PCs are usually the major nudity offenders, actually - Sophia tends to set herself on fire a lot, which of course incinerates any non-relic clothing, and Sangria is notorious for destroying whatever clothing Geoff painstakingly chooses for her the first time she runs headfirst into battle. Goze tends to skinshed right out of his clothes, leading to a lot of Olympics-esque naked athletics, and discussions had to be had with Kettila to explain that she couldn't be just wandering around the World naked all the time, especially with inconvenient amounts of Epic Appearance.

Those who want to keep a comfortable amount of clothing usually invest in Tailor Made so they don't have to worry about these kinds of things. In particular, Aurora finds being naked humiliating, and Geoff finds that it makes it even harder to escape the constant attempts to jump his bones from all sides, so they keep themselves pretty much under wraps at all times.
