I was wondering: from the looks of the twitter feed, Mohini and Padma are currently active, but they're not on the active characters section of the characters page. What's up with that?
Tom and Jennie, two of our longtime players who now live in New York, are in town visiting this week. They played in the original EP group (Shadan, Mohini, Padma, Cassara, Terry and Kebo) back in the day, but have been too far away to do so for about a year. We threw a couple of all-night marathon parties and pulled out the old characters, so they've been living it up as Kebo and Cassara once again. They're lazy about tweeting, though, so you're only seeing Padma's and Mohini's commentary.
I figured there wasn't a lot of point to moving everyone to active for two days and then back out again.
Oh, definitely, I love Mohini! (Not that I don't love all of them, but I think she's probably one of my favorites.)
One of the behind-the-scenes mechanics going on in Eastern Promises right now is that, due to some high-level god stuff the PCs don't know about so I can't explain, some pantheons rotate in and out of playability. At the moment, each band can only have one Deva in it at a time, so Mohini's been out for a while because her player and I wanted to keep her together with Padma. She is definitely still alive and active, though, and ready to be played again if the opportunity arises. She even has a fiction story outline burning a hole in my pocket, though she's not too popular on the voting polls.
