Yes, it certainly can! Going for a long time without needing oxygen, just like going without food and/or water, is one of the many benefits that Epic Stamina provides those who invest in it. Like most things involving Epic Stamina, it gets crazy really fast. We did the math the other night, and Eztli, who has no powers that bolster her breath-holding ability, could happily give up breathing for approximately eight years before bothering to replenish her oxygen. Take that, Drowned Road!
Heh, just ran into this issue last week at my friends game. My PC was the only one with water breathing. Only two others could hold their breath long enough to fight the Nemean Shark.
