Alas, The Spyder (also known as Isaac Green, Scion of Ptah) is not represented here, mostly because he defected, ran away into the Matrix to make kissyface with Arachne, and is officially kicked off the team. We still love him out of character, though.

P.S. I was looking at Russell's sheet: how come he has 3rd level epics and boons if his Legend's only two?
Why do you think hes only legend two? His sheet shows him at legend 4.

DeleteThats....odd? Im looking at it right now, he has 4 legendary deeds and ....o i see. He only has two bubbles filled in at the bottom. Yeah anne hasnt updated that apparently. He also doesnt have the correct amount of health boxes. She sometimes just missses the small things like that when updating a sheet.

So yeah, how come Zoe and Anton are shown as inactive? Are you done with their stories, or just on a break? You've mentioned Isaac's retirement from the world in past blogs, so it makes sense he's there...
Oh, also, a question since we're on the subject, I don't check the Character section that often to notice, but do "Inactive" characters ever come back? Or do they just become NPCs/Cameo appearances in the game world?

For the newer games, I do a rotating cast. Each story the players pick who they'll play and it kinda rotates around. This story zoe and anton headed to washington to work out super hero logistics and left skylar and russell to guard the city.
Inactive characters are either rotated out for the story(they'll come back later), belong to a player that has moved(they'd come back if we played with them again probably), or are my pcs from long ago and will never be played again.
Also...total bear. Although its one of toms not gay characters in gangs.

DeletePart of that is the fiction you wrote. I love how Russell is the 'Superman' of the group, the one really and honestly nice guy who wants to do the right thing, and I love how awkwardly but honestly he writes about his feelings for Zoe. And how much he cares about his mortal father (present relationship notwithstanding) and how he can judge other people without being judgemental.

Haha, well I am glad people like him, I never really tried to be "superman" but rather just an average person with below average intelligence coming to terms with the complications of being a superhuman. As far as his awkwardness, he never has had a relationship with anyone physical or otherwise due to his anger issues so he is dealing with romantic feelings for the first time in his life.
DeleteThough I would he certainly views Zoe as a larger than life aspirational Superwoman figure, which is part of why he fell for her. Without her leadership I doubt he would have the strength to deal with his responsibilities(plus he would be dead). Hopefully we see her fiction soon, because she is once of my favorite characters in the Gangs games, in a world where the dark brooding superhero is the norm (Nolan Batman and Man of Steel, ect.) it's really refreshing to see a genuine super hero doing the right thing because that's just how she rolls.
I cannot deny that he pulls off the look :P

DeleteThe cube is his main relic, it's in Shockwave 99% of the time. So far what is known about it is that it's an incredible power source. Anytime he has tried to use it (beyond powering Shockwave), there have been dire consequences including (but not limited to) radiation burns, summoning fire demons, and almost going nova and vaporizing the team... and a borough.
