If you're referring to what I think you're referring to I feel that we probably got most of the venting out of our systems last night over Skype. But this is an awesome gesture regardless.
As long as it happened to him as well, I will be completely fine with the punishment that came down upon us all. We took the bait instead of ignoring his libel, so we probably do deserve it. Luckily one of his threads was locked, and he has not posted since Saturday afternoon.
Thats a lot of hits for us to take in order to get one guy banned. But I guess you're right....and I just wrote a paragraph I had to delete cause I cant be volatile at people...controlling...self...

I appealed and got my sentence reduced. I'm still frustrated beyond belief because the favoritism in that was appalling.

From an outside perspective, I can see why some folks took his side. If you hadn't been in the other threads or frequented the other forum, it really did look like a bunch of random posters from some other forum invading a thread expressly to come after him, completely derailing the topic in the process. I disagree with the outcome, but I can see why some of the people who had no other exposure to the situation were like "wtf is happening" when everything went crazy.
Of course, it looks very different if you've read all three threads. But c'est la vie.
Yes. He did exactly the right thing in making sure he was surrounded by people not touched by his idocity in the Scion forums and we took the bait he laid out hook, line, and sinker. I have no doubt in my mind that was his version of revenge, and he got it.
I think the only reason he's not made a third, gloating thread is because he got smacked too and we all know he is a sycophantic little weasal who cringes up into the fetal position any time someone looks at him with a dissenting opinion.

I don't think he's welcomed in the Scion forums anymore by the main crux of people if Skype or Seramus' signature has anything to say. He may have 'won' the battle, but there's going to be a cold reception even if he tries to bring over more allies. They're going to see how exactly the debates are done and why he is reviled. Hopefully, he'll lose his support and will disappear again.
You know...given that the plot you laid out would actually require an element of critical thinking (and judging by what I've seen of his thought processes in his posts) I can't help but suspect you might be over-estimating him a bit.
Apparently the moderators are being spoken to and new standards for length of suspensions are being instituted. Since, ya know, he got 2 days for direct, insulting personal attacks and I got a week for "threadcrapping."
Just in the emails I've exchanged with the forum administrator. She also said that until now "cross-forum conflict has not been an issue" which is bullcrap. There has been all kind of cross-forum conflict in the history of WW Forums.
So, yeah, basically I got a longer ban than he did because I was 'intruding' into the Exalted forum. Like I'm not a citizen of Exalted, so I can't start shit over there.
Further notice seems that the asshat was not suspended by the same person who suspended all the Scion Forum people. That's why he got a 2-day suspension, it was someone else doing his sentencing.
Which means that the original mod didn't feel the need to suspend him *at all*.
